Shahi Rolls

In a bowl prepare a mixture, take half cup khoya to this add chopped almonds, raisins, a spoonful of grated fresh coconut & a pinch of elaichi powder, mix all these well
Now take a few slices of bread, cut the sides, one by one just wet enough each slice of bread with wet palms so as to nicely soften it but don't soak as it should not break
In each slice, add a spoonful of the mixture prepared & roll it up to seal it from all sides
Now deep fry these rolls in desi ghee till golden brown
Prepare a sugar syrup, add 2 cups sugar to 2 cups water & boil for about 10 mins
Place the fried rolls in the serving dish & pour the syrup over them, let it soak for atleast half an hour before serving
Garnish with chopped almonds & grated coconut
Serve hot !!!
