Knead a dough of half atta & half maida add a tbsp. of oil to it
Or,
You can make it with 1/3 atta, 1/3 bran & 1/3 maida, instead of oil add 1/3 cup milk to it while making dough
Beat an egg & keep aside
For the filling :
Take about 500 gms. boneless chicken & mince it
Take 2 onions sliced, 1 capsicum sliced into 1" long strips, 1 chopped tomato, a finely chopped green chilly & a spoon of ginger garlic paste
Saute the onions till golden, add ginger garlic paste & green chillies, now add capsicum & further saute for 2 mins, now add tomatoes to this, add salt to taste, black pepper, red chilly powder & garam masala to this, mix all this & add the chicken keema / mince to it, cover & let it cook in its own juice till the chicken is cooked (app. 15 mins.), stirring occasionally, sprinkle some coriander & mix
Keep aside when done
Now make semi-cooked chapatis of about 8" diameter with the dough
On one side of each chapati while cooking apply a layer of beaten egg & cook so that it forms a thin layer on it
Once all the chapatis are done, on the side which has egg layer apply a spread of your choice like a flavored mayonnaise/ schezwan sauce/ green chutney
Now put the filling vertically from one side to the other in the centre of the chapati, sprinkle some finely sliced onions on top & pull in both sides to form a roll
When all the rolls are ready on a hot tawa, fry both sides of the roll just like a parantha with a bit of butter
Diagonally cut into two & serve !
If you want to make Vegetarian Rolls :
Use Boiled Potatoes & processed cheese/ Paneer/ Nutri granuels instead of the chicken, rest everything remains same. If u use paneer or potatoes don't cook the filling for so long, just about 3-4 mins. is enough. Nutri needs to be cooked like chicken only.
